Monica
Mitchell received a Master's Degree in
Professional and Technical Writing from
Carnegie Mellon University. While in graduate
school she worked with leading professors
who were early researchers in the Plain
Language movement. She also worked with
many
experts in document design. She has conducted
extensive readability studies and has
re-designed surveys and documents for
reading efficiency.
